Financial Accountant
As Financial Accountant, this role supports the month end financial close and financial and management reporting on this 12 month fixed term contract.
- Prepare monthly management
accounts, reconciliations, and variance analysis - Support the annual report and
accounts process - Manage the fixed asset
register and advise on IAS 38 project capitalisation - Work with tax advisors on
corporation tax returns and compliance - Maintain the Finance team’s
risk and controls register - Provide audit support and
develop a strong control environment - Deliver ad hoc analysis for
senior stakeholders - Coach and mentor junior
finance staff - Contribute to continuous
improvement initiatives within the Finance function
What experience will you have?
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong experience of month
end close and management accounts - Experience of supporting year-
end accounting and external audit - Any experience within fintech/
financial services/banking a plus but not essential
Duration: 12 month FTC
Location: City of London/Hybrid - 50% office/50% home
Salary: To £63,000 + benefits
