Management Accountant
Working for this rapidly scaling fintech, this is a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for leading on the month end close including all associated journal postings and reconciliations
- Preparing the monthly management account pack with analysis on business performance and commentaries
- Supporting the FC with year-end activities such as preparing statutory financial statements and liaising with external auditors
- Forecast, understand and track benefits from ongoing projects
- For the short term, this role will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable (low volume)
- Support the FC and CFO on ad hoc projects
You will have experience in the month end close and preparation of management accounts or someone looking for their first role from external audit within accounting firms and be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Experience working within fintech or financial services desirable but not essential.
Salary: To £60,000 + bonus + bens
